About Us

At Shoreham Village Pre-School we recognise the immense importance that parents attach to choosing the best possible care for their children.  With that in mind, we pride ourselves on providing a happy and secure environment with only the best care and attention for your children.

Following our recent 2019 Ofsted inspection we were delighted to receive the grading of ‘Outstanding’ for the second time in a row for setting and curriculum and are happy to quote the following from our report :

  • Children's progress and achievements are consistently outstanding in all learning areas.

  • Children's well-being is a high priority for the management and staff team. As a result, all children flourish extremely well.

  • Staff provide highly stimulating learning environments. Children have access to exciting activities and learning experiences, which support their excellent progress.

Each child is assigned a “keyworker” member of staff.

The ratio of staff to children is 1:4 children for 2 years olds and 1:8 children for 3-5 year olds. However, in order to provide a nurtured and intimate setting we only have 16 children on our role call at any one session.
